Four facet drill grind

26-Nov-07: An example of a four facet grind carried out on a 1/2" blacksmith drill.  Drills ground in this manner are a pleasure to use, and with care I can grind down to 3mm dia drillbits.

Toolbit

26-Nov-07: A 3/8" HSS toolbit which has been ground to shape using the Quorn.  The front and side (including the radius between them) were ground in a single operation, with the top relief added later.
